Ep. #109 - Charity:Water‘s Chief Global Water Officer Christoph Gorder Shares the Nonprofit’s Dedicated Mission to Provide Clean Water to Those in Need
Do you know that there are millions of people all over the world who still do not have access to clean water? Do you know that there is a nonprofit named Charity:Water that has been dedicated to providing clean water access through water projects? I did not know either of these things and I am ashamed to admit it. It was not until I read the NY Times bestselling book Thirst: A Story of Redemption, Compassion and a Mission to Bring Clean Water to the World that I realized the desperate need of people in so many countries for clean water, the diseases and sicknesses that adults and children suffer from drinking dirty water, and all that this amazing organization is doing. Its founder Scott Harrison, the author of the book, has built an impressive operation that is now in 29 countries providing people with this basic necessity. I reached out to Charity:Water to be on my podcast so that you can learn more about all that it is doing and the tremendous impact it has made.
This is part 1 with Christoph Gorder who is its chief global water officer and who is on the executive and administrative side, instrumental in overseeing clean water programs. You will learn all about Charity:Water and its goals and accomplishments. Part 2 will be next month with Tyler Riewer, who most recently has been on the ground in Nepal for Charity:Water.
