Don’t let challenges in life keep you back!  My young guest Raven Phillips tells her story of how she overcame significant challenges in high school to eventually graduate, attend college, and then win the coveted title of Miss University of the Virgin Islands.  At the tender age of just 22-years old, she put together a platform about promoting literacy through telling stories to impact a community devastated by two Category 5 hurricanes in 2017 and now the Covid-19 pandemic.
