Ep. #106 - Author Holly Frances Inspires You with Her Recovery Journey From Being Bedridden with a Rare Disorder to Becoming a Fitness Trainer

My guest Holly Frances is the survivor of a rare illness who turned her recovery into advocacy and is now a writer, speaker, and fitness trainer. What happened and how did she recover?  At 26 years old, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Casey.  Within a few weeks, tragedy hit, and Holly was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome.  Through the dedicated assistance of her mother and the determination and hope she had in living to raise her daughter, Holly fought for months to regain her strength and health.  She went from being bedridden to being in a wheelchair, then using a walker, and ultimately walking and exercising without any assistance.  Holly’s recovery videos have gone viral.  She recently wrote her memoir titled Life Support – Surviving Guillain-Barre Syndrome and openly shares with us her painful recovery and many triumphs.
