Ep.#138 - Addiction Wellness Coach Kattie Lail Shares Her inspiring Journey from Drug Addiction to Rehabilitation and Now Coaching Others

Kattie Lail is an addiction wellness coach who is passionate about helping those who are facing the challenge of drug addiction and their families. She understands the importance of being supportive and bringing out the best in others, as she too went through a long journey from being addicted to meth and then rehabilitation and recovery.  As a young teenager, she saw her mother use meth intravenously and began using it too.  That began years of addiction, then recovery, and then relapse.  It was after she was arrested on federal criminal charges involving selling drugs that she finally realized that she had to turn her life around.  After serving 3 years in federal prison, Kattie was eventually able to fully recover and put to good use her bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in addiction studies.  She works for the nonprofit organization We Face It Together where rehabilitation services are provided to drug users and their families, in person and virtually.  Also, although we did not discuss it in our interview, I thought it was important for you to know that after years of struggling with infertility, Kattie now has two sons.   Kattie’s story is such an inspiring one!
